About Lisa

Born and raised in NYC, I've been making pictures since I was sixteen. After earning a degree in Art at Oberlin, I fell into shooting weddings. I continued for a decade and a half, photographing hundreds of events, from lavish Napa affairs on private estates to black tie museum events.
My images have appeared in most major wedding publications including Martha Stewart Weddings, BRIDES, Elegant Bride, and internationally in Vogue Japan, ELLE China and Cosmo Bride UK. I've been published in several books, including Country Living's Weddings and Chronicle Books' You Can Wear it Again. I was featured on the cover of PDN (major career highlight!) and profiled in Professional Photographer.
I was sponsored by Fujifilm, and spoke at national conventions WPPI and PDN PhotoPlus about creating a luxury brand and my use of analog film. As a film shooter, I was profiled in an advertorial for Fujifilm (also a huge highlight!). In 2014, I was named one of the top photographers in the country by Martha Stewart Weddings.
In addition to my wedding work, I've shot editorial for US and Rolling Stone magazines, and created lookbook campaigns for designers.
I'm proud to be an advocate for Children's Alopecia Project. I've been featured on NPR in a short documentary film about women with Alopecia, and on the radio show Forum.
